By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing a product from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Products and Intended Use

C&J Designs manufactures and sells vehicle accessories and off-road products designed for automotive and recreational applications.

Our products may be intended for off-road, racing, recreational, or other specialized applications. The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for the purchaser’s vehicle, intended use, location, and application.

Products must be installed and used in accordance with all applicable manufacturer instructions, vehicle requirements, federal, state, and local laws, regulations, lighting requirements, and applicable safety requirements.

C&J Designs does not represent that any product is legal for every vehicle, jurisdiction, road, race, trail, or application.

2. Vehicle Compatibility

Vehicle fitment information is provided based on information available to C&J Designs at the time of publication.

Vehicle manufacturers may change vehicle designs, mounting locations, electrical systems, wiring, trim, or other components without notice.

The purchaser is responsible for verifying compatibility before ordering.

If you are uncertain whether a product fits your vehicle or application, contact C&J Designs before purchasing.

3. Installation

C&J Designs strongly recommends professional installation of electrical, lighting, antenna, communications, and vehicle-mounted products.

The purchaser assumes responsibility for proper installation.

Improper installation, modification, wiring, grounding, electrical connections, overloading, short circuits, improper fuse protection, physical damage, or installation contrary to instructions may result in vehicle damage, electrical damage, fire, personal injury, or other property damage.

C&J Designs is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, modification, misuse, neglect, or installation performed by an unauthorized person.

4. Off-Road and Racing Use

Off-road and racing activities involve inherent risks, including vehicle damage, rollover, collision, injury, death, property damage, and damage to equipment.

Products marketed for off-road or racing applications are not represented as making any activity safe.

The purchaser assumes all risks associated with the use of the vehicle and the product in off-road, racing, competition, recreational, or other hazardous environments.

5. Customer Responsibility

The purchaser is responsible for:

• Selecting the correct product and configuration.
• Verifying vehicle compatibility.
• Verifying legal requirements.
• Proper installation.
• Proper electrical installation.
• Proper maintenance.
• Inspecting the product before use.
• Discontinuing use if the product becomes damaged or unsafe.
• Determining whether the product is suitable for the intended application.

6. Product Modifications

Modification of a C&J Designs product without written authorization may void the applicable warranty.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Drilling or machining the product.
• Welding.
• Cutting.
• Altering mounting locations.
• Modifying electrical wiring.
• Changing electrical components.
• Adding unauthorized components.
• Altering the housing.
• Removing safety or identification labels.

7. Pricing and Product Information

C&J Designs reserves the right to correct typographical errors, pricing errors, product descriptions, photographs, specifications, and other information.

If an obvious pricing or product-description error occurs, C&J Designs may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

8. Orders

An order is not considered accepted until C&J Designs confirms the order.

C&J Designs reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory problems, inability to manufacture the requested configuration, or other legitimate business reasons.

9. Shipping

Risk of loss and responsibility for the product may transfer to the purchaser upon delivery to the shipping address provided by the purchaser, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

The purchaser is responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

C&J Designs is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, natural disasters, labor disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, C&J Designs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, installation, possession, or use of our products.

This includes, without limitation:

• Vehicle damage.
• Loss of use.
• Lost profits.
• Lost business.
• Lost race entries.
• Lost travel expenses.
• Towing expenses.
• Rental vehicle expenses.
• Damage to other equipment.
• Personal property damage.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or non-waivable consumer rights.

11. Warranty

Products are covered only by the applicable C&J Designs Limited Warranty described in our Warranty Policy.

The Warranty Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

12. Returns

Returns are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

All C&J Designs names, logos, product designs, photographs, graphics, descriptions, drawings, CAD designs, trademarks, and other content are owned by or licensed to C&J Designs unless otherwise indicated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, or commercially exploited without written permission.

14. Third-Party Products

Certain products may incorporate components manufactured by third parties.

Third-party components may be subject to their respective manufacturer’s warranties and terms.

C&J Designs does not make warranties on behalf of third-party manufacturers beyond warranties expressly provided by C&J Designs.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable California law, except where federal law or another applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable product description, warranty, return policy, shipping policy, and other policies incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between C&J Designs and the purchaser regarding the purchase and use of the product.

Assumption of Risk & Off-Road Use Disclaimer

C&J Designs, C&J Products, and any related or affiliated business entities (collectively, “C&J,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) design and manufacture automotive and off-road products intended for use on vehicles, including products designed for off-road, recreational, racing, overland, and other demanding applications.

Assumption of Risk

By purchasing, installing, possessing, or using any C&J product, the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges and agrees that the use of automotive and off-road equipment involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated through product design or manufacturing.

These risks may include, without limitation:

• Vehicle accidents, rollovers, collisions, or loss of vehicle control;
• Property damage;
• Personal injury or death;
• Damage to the vehicle or other vehicle components;
• Damage resulting from vibration, impacts, debris, dust, mud, water, heat, cold, or other environmental conditions;
• Damage or failure resulting from improper installation, modification, maintenance, or use;
• Electrical shorts, wiring failures, overheating, or other electrical issues;
• Interference with vehicle systems, communications equipment, antennas, lighting, or other accessories;
• Failure of aftermarket equipment or mounting systems;
• Damage caused by racing, competition, jumping, high-speed driving, or other extreme vehicle use; and
• Risks associated with use of the product in conditions exceeding its intended design or application.

OFF-ROAD AND RACING USE CAN BE DANGEROUS. Off-road vehicles and racing vehicles are frequently subjected to forces, impacts, vibration, heat, dust, water, and other conditions substantially greater than those encountered during ordinary street driving.

C&J products are not a substitute for safe driving practices, appropriate vehicle preparation, proper installation, or professional judgment.

Off-Road and Racing Use

Certain C&J products are designed, marketed, or commonly used for off-road, overland, Baja, recreational, or racing applications. Customer understands that such use may subject the product and vehicle to extreme conditions and stresses.

C&J does not represent or warrant that any product will remain undamaged or perform without failure under all off-road, racing, competition, or extreme-use conditions.

Racing, competition, and extreme off-road use are performed entirely at the Customer's own risk.

Products may be used in connection with vehicles participating in events, races, competitions, recreational activities, or other demanding applications. However, C&J does not guarantee that any product is suitable for a particular race, event, sanctioning organization's rules, vehicle configuration, or specific application.

The Customer is solely responsible for determining whether a C&J product is appropriate for the Customer's intended use.

Installation Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that every C&J product is properly installed, secured, wired, configured, and maintained.

Installation should be performed by a qualified professional when the Customer lacks the appropriate mechanical, electrical, fabrication, or technical knowledge necessary to safely install the product.

C&J is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from:

• Improper installation;
• Incorrect wiring;
• Incorrect hardware;
• Improper torque;
• Failure to follow installation instructions;
• Failure to secure the product properly;
• Use of incorrect tools or installation methods;
• Modification of the product;
• Modification of the vehicle;
• Improper routing or protection of wiring;
• Failure to inspect mounting hardware;
• Failure to maintain or periodically inspect the product; or
• Installation performed by an unqualified or inexperienced person.

The Customer is responsible for verifying that installation does not interfere with any vehicle safety system, factory component, electrical system, antenna, communications equipment, lighting system, sensor, airbag, camera, body panel, roof structure, or other vehicle component.

Vehicle Modifications

Installation of aftermarket products may require modification, relocation, removal, or adjustment of vehicle components.

The Customer is solely responsible for determining whether installation of a C&J product will affect the Customer's vehicle, its warranty, its insurance coverage, its registration, its compliance with applicable laws or regulations, or its ability to safely operate.

C&J makes no representation that installation of an aftermarket product will preserve a vehicle manufacturer's warranty.

Inspection and Maintenance

The Customer is responsible for periodically inspecting all C&J products and associated mounting hardware, fasteners, wiring, connectors, brackets, and vehicle attachment points.

Products exposed to off-road, racing, or severe-duty conditions should be inspected more frequently.

If a product becomes loose, damaged, cracked, bent, improperly positioned, electrically compromised, or otherwise appears unsafe, the Customer must immediately discontinue use of the product until it has been properly inspected and, if necessary, repaired or replaced.

No Guarantee Against Failure

Although C&J designs its products with durability and intended use in mind, no mechanical, structural, electrical, or automotive product can be guaranteed to withstand every possible condition.

C&J does not guarantee that a product will be:

• Damage-proof;
• Failure-proof;
• Accident-proof;
• Crash-proof;
• Waterproof unless specifically stated otherwise;
• Resistant to every environmental condition;
• Suitable for every vehicle;
• Suitable for every modification or accessory configuration; or
• Suitable for every off-road or racing application.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, C&J SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PURCHASE, INSTALLATION, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE, INABILITY TO USE, OR FAILURE OF A C&J PRODUCT.

Such damages may include, without limitation, loss of use of a vehicle, towing expenses, transportation expenses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, damage to other property, vehicle downtime, rental vehicle expenses, or other economic losses.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, C&J'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in this provision is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Customer's Responsibility

By purchasing a C&J product, Customer acknowledges that Customer has had an opportunity to review the product description, intended application, installation requirements, warnings, and limitations associated with the product.

Customer is responsible for making an informed decision regarding whether the product is appropriate for Customer's vehicle and intended use.

USE OF ANY C&J PRODUCT CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THE RISKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIBED IN THIS DISCLAIMER, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Important Safety Statement

C&J products are aftermarket automotive products. They should be used responsibly and only for their intended purpose.

Nothing contained in this disclaimer authorizes unsafe driving, illegal vehicle operation, or violation of any applicable federal, state, or local law.

DRIVE RESPONSIBLY. INSPECT YOUR EQUIPMENT. USE APPROPRIATE SAFETY EQUIPMENT.

C&J Designs Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Because C&J Designs products may be manufactured and configured specifically for the customer’s order, returns are subject to the following policy.

Standard Returns

Unused, uninstalled, non-custom products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify:

• The product must be unused.
• The product must not have been installed.
• The product must be in original condition.
• All components must be included.
• Original packaging should be included when reasonably available.
• The product must not have been modified or damaged.

Custom and Configured Products

Because C&J Designs products may be manufactured or configured specifically for an individual order, custom, modified, special-order, or made-to-order products are generally non-returnable for buyer’s remorse or change of mind.

This does not affect any rights the purchaser may have under applicable warranty or consumer-protection law.

Electrical Products

Electrical products that have been installed, wired, powered, modified, or otherwise used are not eligible for return due to change of mind.

Damaged Products

Customers must inspect packages upon delivery.

If a product arrives damaged, contact C&J Designs as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs of:

• Shipping box.
• Shipping label.
• Packaging.
• Product damage.

Do not discard damaged packaging until C&J Designs or the carrier has completed its investigation.

Incorrect Product

If C&J Designs sends an incorrect product or configuration, contact us before installing or modifying the product.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law or the return results from a C&J Designs error or covered defect.

The customer is responsible for return shipping on voluntary returns unless otherwise stated.

Restocking

C&J Designs reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs associated with returned products when permitted by law, including costs associated with damage, missing components, or products returned in a condition that prevents normal resale.

Any restocking or other deduction will not exceed what is permitted by applicable law.

Warranty Claims

Defective products are handled under the C&J Designs Limited Warranty and should not be submitted as ordinary change-of-mind returns.

PRODUCT SAFETY & INSTALLATION POLICY

C&J Designs Product Safety Notice

C&J Designs products are vehicle-mounted products intended for automotive, off-road, recreational, and/or racing applications.

Installation

Installation should be performed by a qualified person familiar with automotive electrical systems and vehicle modifications.

Before installation:

C&J Designs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SpaceX or Starlink unless expressly stated otherwise.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring compatibility with their Starlink equipment and service.

Off-Road Use

Off-road and racing use can involve substantial risk.

Never operate a vehicle beyond your skill level or in a manner that creates unreasonable risk to yourself or others.

C&J Designs Shipping Policy

C&J Designs products may be manufactured or configured after an order is placed.

Processing Time

Orders are generally processed after payment is received.

Estimated production times may vary depending on product configuration, component availability, production volume, and other circumstances.

If a significant delay is expected, C&J Designs may contact the customer with an updated estimate.

Shipping

Orders are shipped using the carrier and service selected at checkout when available.

Delivery estimates provided by carriers are estimates and are not guaranteed.

C&J Designs is not responsible for carrier delays outside our reasonable control.

Incorrect Address
