C&J DESIGNS LIMITED WARRANTY

C&J Designs warrants to the original purchaser that C&J Designs-manufactured products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms and exclusions below.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless C&J Designs agrees otherwise in writing.

What is covered

This warranty covers defects in:

  • Materials.
  • Manufacturing.
  • Workmanship.
  • C&J Designs-manufactured components.

What is not covered

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Improper installation.
  • Incorrect wiring.
  • Reverse polarity.
  • Electrical system problems.
  • Incorrect voltage.
  • Short circuits.
  • Improper grounding.
  • Improper fuse protection.
  • Accidents.
  • Collision.
  • Rollover.
  • Abuse.
  • Neglect.
  • Misuse.
  • Racing or competition damage.
  • Off-road impact.
  • Rocks or debris.
  • Water intrusion caused by modification or improper installation.
  • Unauthorized modification.
  • Unauthorized repair.
  • Cosmetic damage caused by normal use.
  • Scratches.
  • Paint or coating damage.
  • Normal wear.
  • Corrosion caused by environmental exposure.
  • Damage caused by other vehicle components.
  • Damage caused by aftermarket electrical systems.
  • Damage caused by installation or use outside the product’s intended application.

Third-party components

Baja Designs products, Starlink equipment, antennas, radios, wiring components, and other third-party products are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

C&J Designs does not extend the manufacturer’s warranty of third-party products unless specifically stated.

Warranty claim process

Before returning a product, the purchaser must contact C&J Designs and provide:

  • Order number.
  • Name.
  • Contact information.
  • Product information.
  • Description of the problem.
  • Photographs or video when requested.
  • Proof of purchase.

C&J Designs may require the product to be returned for inspection.

If C&J Designs determines that the product is covered by this warranty, C&J Designs may, at its option and as permitted by applicable law:

  1. Repair the product;
  2. Replace the product; or
  3. Refund the purchase price of the affected product.

The warranty remedy will be determined after inspection.

No unauthorized returns

Products returned without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the purchaser.

Warranty disclaimer

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, the remedies provided under this Limited Warranty are the remedies available under this warranty.

This warranty does not exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
